1. Important Notice

This app is intended for entertainment purposes only. KickPick does not provide or encourage any form of sports betting or real-money gambling. All predictions and challenges inside the app are for friendly competition between users and do not provide any financial rewards or tangible material prizes.

2. Data We Collect

We may collect your name, email address, device data, login data, profile photo, sports predictions, points, badges, and user-generated content including text, audio, and video when captain features are used. When ads are shown, device and advertising identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID, IP address, diagnostics, and ad interaction data may be processed.

3. How We Use Data

We use data to improve the user experience, operate sports predictions, manage leaderboards for users, influencers, and VIP accounts, display badges and achievements, prevent abuse, and contact winners or users when needed.

4. Ads and Advertising Partners

Kickpick uses Start.io to display in-app advertisements. Start.io may collect or process data such as advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, diagnostics, and ad interaction data for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and performance improvement. Users can reset or control the Android Advertising ID and disable ad personalization from device settings where available.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

KickPick offers additional paid features, such as VIP features, through in-app subscriptions. Payments and subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not collect, store, or access credit card details or other sensitive financial information; this data is managed and secured by Google under Google's own policies.

Subscriptions may renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless the user cancels auto-renewal through their Google Play account before the current period ends. Subscription fees are charged to the user's Google Play account according to the selected plan and the terms shown in Google Play at the time of purchase.

Users can manage subscriptions or cancel auto-renewal at any time through Google Play account settings under the subscriptions section. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription. Refund requests are subject to Google Play's official refund policies and must be submitted directly through Google Play.

We process only the data needed to verify subscription status and activate VIP features in the app, such as order ID, subscription type, subscription status, and expiration date. We do not use this data for other financial purposes.

6. Data Storage

We use secure Hetzner servers to run the app and databases, and Cloudflare R2 to store public media such as profile photos, emojis, badges, and audio or video clips when available.

7. User Rights

Users may request access to their data, correction of their data, or permanent account deletion. When an account is deleted, we will delete or hide personal data associated with the account according to available technical and legal requirements. Account deletion requests can be submitted through the account deletion form.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, CDN protection, limited access controls, and reasonable security measures to reduce the risk of unauthorized access or misuse of data.

9. Public In-App Data

Some data may be visible to other users in the app, including username, profile photo, predictions, points, rankings, badges, and published captain commentary.
